Mission
The Kosovo Leadership Academy is a S.T.E.A.M. educational institution that exists to improve communities and advance the education level of Kosovo and beyond by developing young people who learn for life, live for others, and lead their communities with excellence.
The Kosovo Leadership Academy is developing young leaders to make a strategic difference. It seeks to graduate students who have a clear commitment to their communities while encouraging students to maximize their potential and press toward the goal for the sake of something larger than themselves. The KLA is about learning with excellence, living with excellence, and leading with excellence.

2015
Kosovo Leadership Academy (KLA) is a private educational institution licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI). Since its opening in 2015, when it received its license for grades 6–9 from MESTI, KLA has worked with great dedication to create an outstanding educational
environment. From the very beginning, KLA has led a journey filled with passion, commitment, and success.
2016
Just one year later, in 2016, with the groundbreaking ceremony, KLA took its first step toward a brighter future by opening the first phase of construction and
beginning operations in a new building that oered excellent facilities for students.
2019
In 2019, KLA celebrated the graduation of its first senior class, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history.
The continuous growth and development of KLA is a reflection of its strong commitment to ongoing improvement. In 2019, KLA started its first kindergarten
class, creating opportunities for children to begin their educational journey in a learning environment filled with love for knowledge. With the launch of the elementary school program in 2020, KLA became an institution covering all levels of pre-university education for children.
2022
In 2022, KLA organized the Kosovo STEM Fair, a major event supported by the U.S. Embassy, showcasing its commitment to the advancement of science and
technology. That same year, KLA received COGNIA accreditation and a STEM certification.
2024
In January 2024, the third floor of the school building was inaugurated. This new floor includes laboratories for chemistry, technology, and biology, oering modern spaces for scientific and technological experiments and activities.
2025
In 2025, Kosovo Leadership Academy proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of growth, innovation, and community impact. This memorable year also honored the first generation of 5th-grade students completing their elementary journey, a milestone that reflects the school’s dedication to nurturing learners from their earliest years. Together, these achievements highlight KLA’s ongoing mission to inspire and empower future leaders.
